Tsain Ko Village Shopping Centre (Tsain Ko) awarded Converge Construction 5 projects in Sechelt Indian Government District, BC, over the past 3 years. These projects were fully designed and constructed and consisted of a 2697 SF standalone building for Tim Hortons, a 17,010 SF addition for Shoppers Drug Mart, a 10,143 SF building for BC Cannabis and Lordco, a 7100 SF building for BC Liquor Stores, and a 21,538 SF re-roofing of building B.

One of the main goals for Tsain Ko on this project was to maximize shíshálh Nation employment. Converge more than met this goal with over 18,500 manhours of employment provided. Converge worked with Tsain Ko and the shíshálh Nation to hire and provide on-the-job training for shíshálh Nation Members in the fields of civil, carpentry, and site management. Converge worked with multiple shíshálh Nation Contractors through the tender process all the way to the completion of the project.
